My 100 movies (as of 2006 - Pre Netflix) 80 - 71

80. Eurotrip
I enjoy this movie more than Road Trip due to it's purely comedial tone. It never takes itself seriously like Airplane, or any Mel Brooks movie. Guy has hot pen pal in Europe who likes him, he accidentally calls her a dude and that hes not into her. He takes his 3 friends to Europe to apologize. Of course Hasslehoff makes an appearance.

(After Scott tells Cooper his penpal is hot even though Cooper thinks the penpal is a guy)
Scott: "I told her to keep her hands off my genitals."
Cooper: "Well given what we know now, that seems like the exact opposite of what you want"

79. Butterfly Effect
Fantastic concept and a ton of neat ideas about a guy(Kutcher) who learns how to go back in time. He is completely doomed no matter how he changes time. One negative: I hate the fact that this movie ends on a bad note, it just seems so out of place. He spends the whole movie trying to fix his love life, but just doesn't in the end.

Evan's Mom: "Evan! Put that out, or you'll blow off both your hands!"
Evan at 7: "Been there, done that."

78. Anger Management
Great pairing between Sandler and Nicholson. Jack surprisingly keeps up with Adam quite well here. Adam has a problem expressing himself which keeps his girlfriend unhappy and keeps him from getting that promotion at work. His girlfriend hires Buddy(Jack) to cure him.

Dr. Buddy Rydell: "Also, if you are unable to stop masturbating please, do so without the use of any pornographic images depicting quote, unquote angry sex. That having been said, I'm a pretty good guy and I think you'll be pleasantly surprised how much fun we can have together."
Dave: "Geez, without slippy-flippy's or angry masturbating I don't see how that's possible."

77. Walking Tall
Uplifting movie with an unlikely duo between The Rock and Johnny Knoxville. Chris(The Rock) comes back from the army to find his home town complete with a casino and drug ring. After getting beat up by bouncers at the casino, he decides to run for sheriff to clean up the town.

Old Sheriff: "You won the election. Congratulations. But we do have a tradition of professional courtesy up here. And I can personally vouch for each and every one of these men. They're good deputies."
Chris: "You're all fired."

76. Dick Tracy
Outstanding colors and characters make this comic book movie be. It's got Madonna and a really annoying 'Kid' trying to counter balance the fine acting work of Al Pacino and Warren Beatty. Basically a three-way fight between detective Tracy(Beatty), mobster Big Boy(Pacino) and a blanked faced Mahoney(Madonna).

(Big Boy talking to a hidden Tracy)
(panicking) "Come on. Just lemme see ya. I just wanna see your face. I just wann- I just wanna talk some sense in- I wanna-
(angry) I just wanna take your head and I wanna crush it like an egg!
(panics) No, no! I didn't mean that!"

75. Training Day
Story about a cop Jake(Ethan Hawke) on his first day on the job. Unfortnately he's being trained by the most corrupt cop on the force(Denzel Washington). Jake puts up with Alonzo for awhile stealing money, doing drugs, letting petty criminals off the hook until he reaches his boiling point and Alonzo tries to kill him.

"Aww, you motherfuckers. I'm putting cases on all you bitches. Huh. You think you can do this shit... Jake. You think you can do this to me? You motherfuckers will be playing basketball in Pelican Bay when I get finished with you. Who the fuck do you think you're fucking with? I'm the police, I run shit around here. You just live here. Cause I'm gonna burn this motherfucker down. King Kong ain't got shit on me."

74. Halloween
Original slasher film. I like this movie much more than Friday the 13th or Nightmare on Elm street because it actually has an engaging story where you actually feel for the characters. Slow and long in parts, one of the best beginnings to a movie ever. I really loved the new Rob Zombie remake as well. While just as long, he doesn't do the typical exact remake and instead gives us more the beginning which gives us a terrific and different view from the original.

I met this six-year-old child, with this blank, pale, emotionless face and, the blackest eyes... the devil's eyes. I spent eight years trying to reach him, and then another seven trying to keep him locked up because I realized what was living behind that boy's eyes was purely and simply... evil.

73. Oceans 11
A remake which apparently is much better than the original. Many great actors come together on this one about Danny Ocean(George Clooney) who puts together a team to rob a casino which he spites due to the fact that the casino owner is dating his ex-wife.

"Why do this?"
"Why not do it? Cause yesterday I walked out of the joint after losing four years of my life and you're cold-decking 'Teen Beat' cover boys. Cause the house always wins. Play long enough, you never change the stakes. The house takes you. Unless, when that perfect hand comes along, you bet and you bet big, then you take the house."
(long pause)
"Been practicing this speech, haven't you?"
"Little bit. Did I rush it? Felt I rushed it."
"No, it was good, I liked it. The Teen Beat thing was harsh."

72. Italian Job
Very similar to Oceans 11 in which a team of many actors are out to steal a lot of money. Instead of the entire movie building to the climax, this movie has the team pulling it off, only to get back stabbed by one member(Edward Norton) who wants it all for himself. The rest of the movie is about the team trying to steal it back.

(impatiently) "NOW?"
"I'm about to insert this detonator tube, and if the brass touches the sides, you and I will be the last people each of us will see."
(suddenly looking very nervous) "Take all the time you need."

71. Beetlejuice
Slightly dark comedy about a couple who after dieing, realize they are going to be living in their house forever. When a mostly hideous family moves in, they will do anything to remove the new hosts. They higher BeetleGuese(Michael Keaton) to haunt them away. Led by Alec Baldwin and Winona Ryder.

"Ah. Well... I attended Juilliard... I'm a graduate of the Harvard business school. I travel quite extensively. I lived through the Black Plague and had a pretty good time during that. I've seen the EXORCIST ABOUT A HUNDRED AND SIXTY-SEVEN TIMES, AND IT KEEPS GETTING FUNNIER EVERY SINGLE TIME I SEE IT... NOT TO MENTION THE FACT THAT YOU'RE TALKING TO A DEAD GUY... NOW WHAT DO YOU THINK? You think I'm qualified?"

Vexing Devil Giving an opponent a choice is never a good idea. However I really feel like it's win win here in the aggressive deck. A 4/3 for one will almost always be worth a card. So the real question is - is it worth a card to deal 4 damage for a red? It's not quite Flame Slash good in a control deck, or as great top deck as Thunderous Wrath but better than Thunderbolt or Lava Axe . 19. Scute Mob Not a true one drop. But by turn six hopefully you are going get a hydra-like insect that will quickly get insanely huge if not dealt with. My biggest issue is that it doesn't have trample. It's still a great costed creature that can do some work if unchecked. There are lots of ways to give it Trample in Green not named Rancor . 18. Dragonmaster Outcast And yet another non-true o

50 Favorite Adult Swim Characters

I tried to get a good variety and yet be fair to what I like the most. I'm sure there are one I've missed and some that might be surprising but if it aired on Adult Swim - I can use it. I didn't use any characters from either Robot Chicken or Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! as they are basically clip shows and while good, the re-occurring characters aren't used enough. Also, it turns out H. Jon Benjamin is the voice for half these shows. 50. Chains     Fat Guy Stuck in Internet 49. Assy McGee    Assy McGee H. Jon Benjamin plays the mayor. 48. The Mayor    Tom Goes to the Mayor A Picture of Jeff Goldbloom instead of the Mayor, but this was by far the funniest thing on the show. 47. Inuyasha    Inuyasha 46. Satan     Lucy: The Daughter of the Devil Wears Bill Cosby sweaters and is always trying to kill his daughters boyfriend DJ Jesus. Yeah... One of the H. Jon Benjamin voices 45.
