One of the few I knew I needed to watch prior to the idea of making a basketball list. I knew Shaq was in it and not much else. I'm much more kind to it than the rating numbers would suggest. Nick Nolte does a pretty great job here as a coach trying to recruit players by offering them non NCAA legal sign-on bonuses. Most of the movie is him trying to get the players, then his conscience gets the better of him before we get an ending of  Nolte helping kids at a park and positive layover after giving the wildest press conference of all time. Al Bundy is here as a reporter but doesn't do much. Mary McDonnell whom I know only from Sneakers plays his ex-wife, she has charisma, but she doesn't do much either than give him someone to rationalize his thoughts to instead of the movie having a voice over head monologue. J.T. Walsh whom I only know as Lt. Col. Matthew Andrew Markinson from A Few Good Men, plays the antagonist alumni. Our third(?) Cylk Cozart appearance here, I already lost count. Other real basketball names show up like Bob Cousy, Penny Hardaway, Bobby Knight and Rick Pitino. I could see myself re-watching this one, which maybe the first serious movie on this list so far I would say that about. The Air Up There would be close, but I think I would pick this for a re-watch first despite me ranking it 3 spots lower.

50 Favorite Adult Swim Characters

I tried to get a good variety and yet be fair to what I like the most. I'm sure there are one I've missed and some that might be surprising but if it aired on Adult Swim - I can use it. I didn't use any characters from either Robot Chicken or Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! as they are basically clip shows and while good, the re-occurring characters aren't used enough. Vexing Devil Giving an opponent a choice is never a good idea. However I really feel like it's win win here in the aggressive deck. A 4/3 for one will almost always be worth a card. So the real question is - is it worth a card to deal 4 damage for a red? It's not quite Flame Slash good in a control deck, or as great top deck as Thunderous Wrath but better than Thunderbolt or Lava Axe . 19. Scute Mob Not a true one drop. But by turn six hopefully you are going get a hydra-like insect that will quickly get insanely huge if not dealt with. My biggest issue is that it doesn't have trample. The Top Ten Best and Worst MTV Shows

I thought of this idea watching a new MTV show yesterday called The College Humor Show. It was quite entertaining, but it got me thinking. How terrible are most MTV shows? The answer was quite, and the number of them are plentiful. So I decided to go about ranking the best and worst. The best was much harder because for every good MTV show, there are 15 bad ones. MTV started the beginning of reality TV as we now know it. It also probably killed lots of good music videos which MTV may have shown in it's stead. Now if we want to watch MTV we are forced to decide between crap like Crank Yankers and Daria. When I'm watching MTV I'm usually in Hellen's room, with it being forced on me. So it's not like I have a vast array of knowledge about this topic. Now some MTV shows I've actually liked, though this is probably by accident, it does show MTV has somewhere in there, someone who knows what the crap they are doing. Crazy dating shows like Room Raiders and Date My Mom...
