Hustle
Getting the nod over Hoosiers, number one is a Netflix Adam Sandler movie. Adam Sandler is an overseas scout for the 76ers, going from hotel to hotel, game to game looking for something special, eating fast food. Married to Queen Latifah, with a daughter. Robert Duvall plays the owner and Ben Foster the son. While the owner believes in Sandler's Stanley Sugerman, Ben Foster has his own thoughts on how the 76ers should draft. Jaleel White, Kenny Smith and Heidi Gardner who is the daughter of Duvall's character and another friend to Stanley are also on the personnel team. When Duvall's character passes away, Foster goes his own way against Stanley's wishes. It's the same setup premise as Gladiator. Instead of emperor, Duvall wants to make Sandler an assistant telling Sandler not to back down ever. That statement drives the rest of the movie. Foster demotes Stanley and puts him back as a scout which Sandler isn't happy with. Stanley happens upon a pickup game and finds the prospect he has been looking for in Bo Cruz. Bo, Stanley follows him home after the pickup game where he meets Bo's mom and daughter. Bo agrees to do a workout the next day, and impresses but Foster says no. Sandler agrees to pay Bo's way. Bo comes to Philly and doesn't do well in his first tryout against Kermit. Juancho Hernangomez in real life was drafted in 2016, is good at his pickup game but doesn't do well under pressure. Hernangomez and Edwards (Kermit) played together for the Timberwolves.  Stanley quits after Foster disrespects Bo and himself. Training starts a Rocky Philadelphia style montage. Foster comes out against Bo's arrest record and things get heated. Stanley's daughter suggests a pick up game for money that would be recorded to bring in interest for Bo. Bo loses his cool at the combine at Kermit, but after a third tryout Bo finally gets there. The end is a cameo heaven from Shaq, Dirk, Barkley, Seth Curry, Doc Rivers, Dr J, Allen Iverson and more. It's about dreams, hard work, love and obsession of the game. The movie makes you care about the characters, it helps that Sandler is as likable as he is. The cliché 'catchphrases' that came from scouts and coaches at the end really hurt my ears and is easily the worst thing about the film.

50 Favorite Adult Swim Characters

I tried to get a good variety and yet be fair to what I like the most. I'm sure there are one I've missed and some that might be surprising but if it aired on Adult Swim - I can use it. I didn't use any characters from either Robot Chicken or Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! as they are basically clip shows and while good, the re-occurring characters aren't used enough. Also, it turns out H. Jon Benjamin is the voice for half these shows. 50. Chains     Fat Guy Stuck in Internet 49. Assy McGee    Assy McGee H. Jon Benjamin plays the mayor. 48. The Mayor    Tom Goes to the Mayor A Picture of Jeff Goldbloom instead of the Mayor, but this was by far the funniest thing on the show. 47. Inuyasha    Inuyasha 46. Satan     Lucy: The Daughter of the Devil Wears Bill Cosby sweaters and is always trying to kill his daughters boyfriend DJ Jesus. Yeah... One of the H. Jon Benjamin voices...

Vexing Devil Giving an opponent a choice is never a good idea. However I really feel like it's win win here in the aggressive deck. A 4/3 for one will almost always be worth a card. So the real question is - is it worth a card to deal 4 damage for a red? It's not quite Flame Slash good in a control deck, or as great top deck as Thunderous Wrath but better than Thunderbolt or Lava Axe . 19. Scute Mob Not a true one drop. But by turn six hopefully you are going get a hydra-like insect that will quickly get insanely huge if not dealt with. My biggest issue is that it doesn't have trample. It's still a great costed creature that can do some work if unchecked. There are lots of ways to give it Trample in Green not named Rancor . 18. Dragonmaster Outcast And yet another non-true o...
