Directed by Gus Van Sant and if there ever was a spiritual successor to Good Will Hunting (one of my more recent favorites), this is it. Matt Damon shows up at the end and says we are going to put together a team. You have a fish out of water story about a boy who gets into a school on basketball scholarship with high intelligence and finds talent writing poetry, but not without the help of famous author Forrester, played by Connery. Connery who couldn't type apparently in rl. Rob Brown, who auditioned as an extra, plays the lead character Jamal and shows up in Coach Carter later on this list. F. Murray Abraham plays the antagonist professor. Anna Paquin plays the love interest. Busta Rhymes is another name I recognize. The movie is strongest in the middle as the beginning takes quite a while to heat up. It has a cliché, telegraphed, but enjoyable ending. What we roughly have here is about 25% poetry, 25% love story, 25% basketball and 25% Sean Connery vessel. Third best rated movie so far. Also the third movie I watched making this list. I don't like it nearly as much as GWH though, Connery doesn't have the same impact to me here as Robin Williams did.

50 Favorite Adult Swim Characters

I tried to get a good variety and yet be fair to what I like the most. I'm sure there are one I've missed and some that might be surprising but if it aired on Adult Swim - I can use it. I didn't use any characters from either Robot Chicken or Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! as they are basically clip shows and while good, the re-occurring characters aren't used enough. Vexing Devil Giving an opponent a choice is never a good idea. However I really feel like it's win win here in the aggressive deck. A 4/3 for one will almost always be worth a card. So the real question is - is it worth a card to deal 4 damage for a red? It's not quite Flame Slash good in a control deck, or as great top deck as Thunderous Wrath but better than Thunderbolt or Lava Axe . 19. Scute Mob Not a true one drop. But by turn six hopefully you are going get a hydra-like insect that will quickly get insanely huge if not dealt with. My biggest issue is that it doesn't have trample.
