The Winning Season
What is redemption, what is a winning season? These are serious questions asked by this basketball comedy. A divorced, former athlete basketball coach gets an opportunity to coach a girls squad and at the same time he is fighting with his daughter on an opposing squad. He drinks a lot, doesn't have a great job but takes the opportunity. It takes awhile for the girls to warm up to him. His principal friend Rob Corddry gets him the job and the bus driver becomes his assistant coach. Rooney Mara and Emma Roberts round out the cast. It's not a whole movie of this coach getting pushed down by everyone around him. I don't think I could have taken that, but it is a large part of this movie where this guy just can't get his life together. Sam Rockwell is amazing here. He does some questionable things, but you still want to root for him. I think I wanted way more of an ending and payoff than we received. The script doesn't do justice towards whatever is done correctly here. If it was a non-Sam Rockwell actor, there is a good chance this would be much worse on my list. I would put this movie in the same bucket as The Way, Way Back or Jeff Who Lives At Home, as a comedy that I enjoyed and would gladly see again but it isn't high on my list either.

So the real question is - is it worth a card to deal 4 damage for a red? It's not quite Flame Slash good in a control deck, or as great top deck as Thunderous Wrath but better than Thunderbolt or Lava Axe . 19. Scute Mob Not a true one drop. But by turn six hopefully you are going get a hydra-like insect that will quickly get insanely huge if not dealt with. My biggest issue is that it doesn't have trample. 50 Favorite Adult Swim Characters

I tried to get a good variety and yet be fair to what I like the most. I'm sure there are one I've missed and some that might be surprising but if it aired on Adult Swim - I can use it. I didn't use any characters from either Robot Chicken or Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! as they are basically clip shows and while good, the re-occurring characters aren't used enough. Also, it turns out H. Jon Benjamin is the voice for half these shows. 50. Chains     Fat Guy Stuck in Internet 49. Assy McGee    Assy McGee H. Jon Benjamin plays the mayor. 48.
