My Top 15 Robots

I love robots, and especially movie robots. Generally the bigger and stronger the better. And there are quite a few of them. I have 15 groups of robots listed, kind of cheating but otherwise it would probably about 30 of them.

15. Evil Bill and Ted

Showed up in the sequel to excellent adventure, bogus journey. They were originally programmed to destroy the real Bill and Ted. I believe they were reprogrammed or something to be the rocking robots we know.

14. Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow Nazi Robots
Photobucket

They didn't play much of a role in this movie which is why I gave them a low ranking. Otherwise who doesn't love Nazi Robots.

13. MechaGodzilla
Photobucket

I have never watched a Godzilla movie with the exception of the Matthew Broderick one so I don't know much about the robot Godzilla. But I know it's awesome.

12. Lost in Space Robot
Photobucket

Started off as a cool concept in the movie, until it was destroyed by a virtual annoying little kid. Then it was rebuilt as they corny one from the tv show we all know and love by said annoying kid. Again re-progammed for good.

11. Inspector Gadget
Photobucket

Somehow Matthew Broderick gets another mention here as he was inspector gadget in the movie. The movie was better than I expected, but not good when compared with the awesome tv show.

10. U.S. Robotics model NS-5 "Sonny"
Photobucket

I robot had lots of movies which were all kinda cool. The idea that robots can think for themselves and have to set each other free from the tyranny of humans is something that gives me goosebumps.

9. Johnny 5
Photobucket

One of five remote controlled robots made for the military. This one became self aware after being struck by lightning. Had to escape the military and get beaten up by crooks before finally becoming a citizen.

8. Alien - Androids Ash/Bishop/Call
Photobucket

Photobucket

Same generic android all hated by Sigorney Weaver. Ash was cool because it malfunctioned and tried to get the whole crew killed. Call-Winona Rider was dumb cause she was whiny and wanted to save everyone.

7. Futurama - Bender Bending Rodríguez
Photobucket

We all love Bender, usually trying to screw everyone but once in awhile saves everyone and always funny.

6. Robocop - ED-209
Photobucket

Probably the worse design for a robot. It was pretty much walking guns. Sounds good in theory except it couldn't descend stairs.

5. X-Men - Sentinels
Photobucket

I love the sentinels. The reason they only get fif is because the third X-Men movie ruined the possibility of them thus teasing me forever.

4. Matrix - Agent Smith/Sentinels

Agent Smith rocked. He was the baddest agent and I even liked the ability to clone himself. It got weird though when he was able to go into a real body and stab Keanu Reeves eyes out. The Sentinels here look like little squids.

3. Terminators - T-1,000,000 T-X T-800 T-1,000

In every movie there are bigger and badder robots. Generally a good thing. Nothing will beat a liquid moving terminator though in my mind.

2. Star Wars Robots - Droideka Destroyers/General Grevious/R2-D2

C-3P0 was just a translator, R2 flew planes and opened doors and the regular robots got destroyed way too easy. The destroyers are what really does it here. That and the jedi robot Greivous.

1. Transformers Devastator/Megatron/Optimus Prime

How can you go wrong with an all robot race that transforms? Don't ask me how they transformed into cars and planes on their own alien home world cause I don't understand. Megatron was awesome as a gun, not so much as a plane/tank in the movie. And Devastator is my favorite either as the green one or the movie one.

50 Favorite Adult Swim Characters

I tried to get a good variety and yet be fair to what I like the most. I'm sure there are one I've missed and some that might be surprising but if it aired on Adult Swim - I can use it. I didn't use any characters from either Robot Chicken or Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! as they are basically clip shows and while good, the re-occurring characters aren't used enough. Also, it turns out H. Jon Benjamin is the voice for half these shows. 50. Chains     Fat Guy Stuck in Internet 49. Assy McGee    Assy McGee H. Jon Benjamin plays the mayor. 48. The Mayor    Tom Goes to the Mayor A Picture of Jeff Goldbloom instead of the Mayor, but this was by far the funniest thing on the show. 47. Inuyasha    Inuyasha 46. Satan     Lucy: The Daughter of the Devil Wears Bill Cosby sweaters and is always trying to kill his daughters boyfriend DJ Jesus. Yeah... One of the H. Jon Benjamin voices...

Vexing Devil Giving an opponent a choice is never a good idea. However I really feel like it's win win here in the aggressive deck. A 4/3 for one will almost always be worth a card. So the real question is - is it worth a card to deal 4 damage for a red? It's not quite Flame Slash good in a control deck, or as great top deck as Thunderous Wrath but better than Thunderbolt or Lava Axe . 19. Scute Mob Not a true one drop. But by turn six hopefully you are going get a hydra-like insect that will quickly get insanely huge if not dealt with. My biggest issue is that it doesn't have trample. It's still a great costed creature that can do some work if unchecked. There are lots of ways to give it Trample in Green not named Rancor . 18. Dragonmaster Outcast And yet another non-true o...
