YouTube - He Gets On Base The perfect rewatchable scene movie. Moneyball might be the best baseball movie with as little as actual baseball as possible. Sure there are a few clips, slow motion plays and old news footage but nothing shown from Pitt's Beane' point of view. It's sort of like Major League but the main character is a rightfully scorned former player turned GM, instead of a vengeful coach and team. There are many rewatchable scenes, but the whole movie has almost like these minor intermissions, sometimes just music playing to baseball or something about Billy Beane's career. Rewatchable scenes include where Peter Brand is explaining to Pitt's character how teams should buy wins, not players. YouTube - Beane meets Brand How many assessments did you do? 47, actually 51. YouTube - Matthew McConaughey Chest Thumping I honestly haven't watched this movie a second time. I don't think it was that good at all or good enough where I feel like I need to re-watch it. I love Leo and Matthew though, so if I were to redo either filmography, this movie fits there. And I love this scene, it sails beyond any other here.  Matthew McConaughey's chest thumping was his own idea. The humming was inspired by McConaughey's real life pre performance ritual. He has described using humming and chest thumping as a way of getting himself into a relaxed, focused state before performing. DiCaprio was already deeply invested in the scene, but McConaughey's improvised behavior threw him off in a way that helped create the natural reaction you see from Jordan. The scene helped establish Hanna immediately. McConaughey only appears in a handful of scenes, but this lunch is essentially Jordan's introduction to the Wall Street lifestyle he's about to embrace....

YouTube - It's the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man "Sub-creatures! Gozer the Gozerian, Gozer the Destructor, Volguus Zildrohar, the Traveller has come! Choose and perish!" Those words always give me chills. It's hard for me to pick a point in this movie and not let it ride to the end. Partly because the ending is so good. I did like bringing Gozer back in Afterlife. Really all the ghost scenes are splendid. The only part in the movie I don't like watching is when Walter Peck goes in to shut down the containment unit. Rick Moranis is a treasure -  YouTube - Yes, Have Some! The opening is also very rewatchable from Bill Murray trying to get a date to a librarian seeing a ghost. YouTube - Setting Traps "This is My House, I Have to Defend It!" Never have stronger words been uttered by a nine year old determined to stop two robbers all by himself. Kevin's plan is insane if you follow it through, but it works ultimately if not by some luck with the neighbor coming by. I don't think I've re-watched a movie more in my life. So obviously I think the entire movie is rewatchable but the end is far and way the best part. This scene is so uplifting and the score is so perfect to how it's edited. Probably the second greatest montage, first to come still on this list. It could easily be a joke of a movie, but I think Macaulay Culkin sells it as being a serious movie. YouTube - Spock Resigns as Captain As far as movies that I've watched in the theater, Star Trek 2009 is top 3 for the most money I have spent on one movie. I think I went to see it roughly ten times. About the same as Star Wars Episode 3, less times than I went to see Avatar. But Avatar tickets were more due to 3D and the movie was quite a bit longer so theater time was probably pretty close even if I only watched it 5ish times. I've never been a  big show fan, but I've watched all the movies multiple times. I tried watching episode 1 of TNG and couldn't make it 15 minutes. I've watched more Voyager than anything. Episode 3 and Star Trek #11 have quite a bit in common. As in they are both space action movies. This movie wasn't popular with pure Trek people as it deviated from what the show was.  For me though I love just about everything about it. I think this is peak J.J. YouTube - A Few Good Men Ending Jack's character in A Few Good Men is so confident, he flat out admits to a crime in open court. This is by far the most famous scene and the best. Jack Nicholson absolutely nailed the scene. Kiefer Sutherland recalled that Nicholson performed the entire sequence from beginning to end in one remarkable take. The room reportedly went completely silent afterward. It was supposed to take much longer to film. The courtroom sequence was scheduled for roughly two or three days, but after Nicholson's performance, director Rob Reiner reportedly decided they had what they needed and wrapped early. Nicholson kept doing it with the same intensity. Reiner needed multiple takes for shots of the other actors reacting, meaning Nicholson had to deliver that explosive performance repeatedly—even when he wasn't necessarily on camera. YouTube - Fight to Survive Another 80's underrated movie. Another mostly fighting movie. Jean-Claude Van Damme doesn't have a ton to do here outside of the circle (rectangle?), but he does his best with his limited language. Acting is not where the movie shines. It shines in the fights and nothing is finer than the montage to the Kumite song. It's very good and gets the nod here, but reminds me of a commercial inside the movie for a better movie. Speaking of commercials, this has always been hilarious to me.  YouTube - Bloodsport Mentos Commercial The second round of fights is good, but doesn't have the same catchy beat. YouTube - Kumite! Day Two My second rewatchable scene would be the training flashback. Just like Kill Bill previously, or Karate Kid or Rocky, training montages will always be my favorite.   YouTube - Too Many Secrets "I cannot kill my friend, kill my friend." Sneakers is an outstanding but probably mostly forgotten movie. The cast has James Earl Jones, Sidney Poitier, Robert Redford, Dan Aykroyd, Ben Kingsley plus many others. It's a spy movie, but they aren't spies. IMDB has it listed as Caper,  Dark Comedy,  Comedy,  Crime,  Drama, Mystery,  Thriller. Redford gets the most screen time, but everyone gets a chance to shine. It's fun to look back on what future technology was to look like. It is funny and has good dialogue. It seems to know when it's being too campy. There is some silly dancing and blind driving along the way. It has a great San Francisco setting. It trusts it's audience and doesn't need to explain everything. I don't know anything about Phil Alden Robinson, but he also did Field of Dreams which is a top 3 baseball movie and also has a fantastic soundtrack. In this scene the blind man is the smartest one. YouTube - The Bride vs The Crazy 88 Fight Is it two movies or is it one? Will volume 3 ever come out? However you feel about Kill Bill and Quentin Tarantino, this is one of the finest fight scenes to come out. They had to make a part of it black and white to avoid the NC-17. The lead fighter was the actual trainer. Feels like they couldn't top the scene when Black Mamba finally faces off against O-Ren. O-Ren has quite the backstory build up, QT even adds more to her backstory in the new The Whole Bloody Affair version. But for whatever reasons, she doesn't put up much of a fight to conclude V1. Everything prior to it though is revenge city. My last Tarantino movie scene on this list. I often have a hard time ranking his filmography. It changes daily. At times I think Reservoir Dogs is my favorite, sometimes it's Django, sometimes it's Inglourious, sometimes it's Pulp. Kill Bill would round out my top five but probably closer to top three. YouTube - Caravan Ending Whiplash: A Caravan of Pain, it's a psychological terror of a movie wrapped in drumming. This is J.K. Simmons best character. He's like a dad you really want to please, but you never will. The Inception ending (will the top stop spinning, is it wobbling?) comes down to this smile that Simmons gives. It's either the same fake front he gives this entire scene or it's genuine which is a creepy thing. The Miles Teller vs J.K. Simmons scenes are all rewatchable on their own, but Caravan is extra awesome. "Not quite my tempo" might be the most famous line from the movie. YouTube - Not Quite My Tempo I'm not sold the success of this movie has much to do with Teller specifically due to how well the short film also went. YouTube - I Drink Your Milkshake! This Daniel Planview character played by Daniel Day-Lewis is someone I could watch for hours. I don't have much more insight at the moment so here are some quotes from this beautifully written and acted rewatchable scene. I've Abandoned My Child! I say this anytime I have to walk away from the baby.  They should have put you in a glass jar on the mantlepiece. Where were you when Paul was suckling on your mom? Drainage! I am a false prophet, God is a superstition.  This is what pissed off Daniel so much in the first place. Out devil, out sin! YouTube - Baptism This scene is pretty good, shortly before he finds out his brother was a con. YouTube - I Have a Competition in Me I don't want to talk about those things. I'm finished!

YouTube - Ending Rap Battles If I had to give 8 Mile a fun to drag ratio, it would probably be 15/85. But the 15% is purely wonderful. Whether it's the music, impromptu rap, or general laugh, there's a lot to get out of 8 Mile. It would have been neat to see him make it at the end, but it doesn't really affect anything. The 85% is either a shouting match, anger issues, people hate their work or watching people freeze.  Marshal B-Rabbit Eminem Mathers has to get through The Falcon, Dr. Father, but first he has to beat his 2 Evil Exes. A rapper with a ice cream cone name is defeated by getting mooned by our hero. Next a man in a white tee is dealt with due to a crowd vote, the least accurate kind of vote. Then to everyone's dismay Dr. Father Falcon The chokes after MBREM whips out his new single. There's no other scene that comes close in this movie. YouTube - Scream Ending 1 YouTube - Scream Ending 2 Few horror movies are as endlessly rewatchable, clever, and entertaining as Scream. From its unforgettable opening to its sharp humor, Scream remains one of the most entertaining horror movies ever made. Wes Craven came out with something so original and fresh, there's been six sequels, plus countless copies, spinoffs and parodies. The idea of two killers never crossed anyone's mind in 1996. While the heroes and heroine survive the movie and continue on to all the sequels, it's the villains that are the most interesting and best part of this movie. I haven't saw Scream 7 yet, I know we have had references to Billy being a father, but Stu has been mostly quiet up until 7. I re-watch the ending the most of anything, both characters are out of their minds, chewing up scenery, torturing Sidney. YouTube - It's Enrico Palazzo Honestly everything from the Baseball scene forward in The Naked Gun is pure gold. Most of the movie is fantastic, but this ending ramps it up. Nothing is funnier than the call back to the national anthem.  Now the true most rewatchable scene is the montage I Love LA. From the vacuuming of home plate to spotlight signals, it's a great couple minutes.  YouTube - I Love It The Baseball bloopers are a good bit of comedy for a 45 second thing. YouTube - Baseball Bloopers Second place would go to when Drebin has to prevent the seventh inning stretch from happening as that was when the assassination was going to take place. YouTube - He Was Safe Haven't watched the new one yet. I will, just haven't gotten to it. Mild expectations and nothing will be as good as the ending of this movie. I did like the two sequels, good jokes in both of them. I think the first one is the best though.
