100 Movies #3 (50-41)

100 movies 3 60-51 100 movies 3 70-61 100 movies 3 80-71 100 movies 3 90-81 100 movies 3 100-91 Get ready for some Bond and Pixar discussion! 50. For Your Eyes Only Why is it ranked here: Finally a Bond in the 80's. Moore's age is catching up with him here though. One of the most unexpectedly entertaining climaxes at the mountain top. The Bond girl is average. The plot is very subpar. Other great scenes include Bond doing an Olympics like Ski jump while being attacked. One of the better Bonds due to these standout scenes, but this one's villains and story really aren't memorable. Interesting: They finally kill off Blofeld after EON/MGM lost the rights to the character in a lawsuit leading up to the split movie in a different studio - Never Say Never - which brought Connery back. 49. Licence to Kill Why is it ranked here: Second Dalton James Bond film. This is the worse of the two by far. Quite dark as it was believed The Living Daylights was still written...

My 80 Worst Magic Creatures 60-51

My 80 Worst Magic Creatures 80-71  My 80 Worst Magic Creatures 70-61 60. NamelessRace What a strange card. 4 mana, pay X life except it can't be greater than the number of white cards? It's a dead card in many cases making it sideboard only. Against white decks you are just asking to be Pacifism'd, STP, Path to Exiled, Reprisal'd, Oblivion Ring'd, you get the idea. Anti white ain't what it used to be. 59. Sokenzan Bruiser I said it had to be worse than a 3/3 for 4, and well, this is. Against a red deck this thing won't live long enough to do 3 damage a turn. Unplayable against other colors.  Way too overcosted. I can see why they just can't simply make it 4 CC making the Hill Giant obselete(as if it wasn't anyway). But why not at least 2RR? 58. Dwarven Sea Clan That is some strange art. No dwarves, but we are just supposed to take their word for it that dwarves are on those ships. Similar to the 2 cards prior to this (unplayable agains...

My 80 Worst Magic Creatures 70-61

My 80 Worst Magic Creatures 80-71 70. Deathknell Kami Flying and Soulshift help quite a bit, but not enough to save this spirit thing which looks like it came out of Prometheus. No it's not the worst creature ever, but it's the 70th worst creature ever. 69. Caravan Hurda 5 mana for this thing is a minimum 2 too much. It's a decent blocker, but no deck is going to play this willingly. 68. Coastal Hornclaw Dungeon Geist and Phantom Monster are things, so why did they have to make this piece of crap? So you could sacrifice lands at will? Okay. Pass. 67. Matopi Golem You could argue that regenerating would be decent. But not while the thing shrinks before your eyes. They would fix this card in later sets with persist and undying.  66. Sandsower Overcosted for an ability that probably won't be used too much. I'm not sure what that picture is. A spirit? It's pretty sweet though. Not sure why this is an uncommon in Modern Masters. 65. Stormwatc...

My 80 Worst Magic Creatures 80-71

Time to kick off a new series of articles called don't play these creatures. Featuring: Negative Drawbacks Overcosted Creatures Underwhelming Stats Why 80? Because I didn't feel like looking up another 20, and cutting out 30 wouldn't be fair to how bad they are. I did all my research in only a few hours, so I'm sure I'm missing out on some. Few staples in the world of magic: a 2/2 for 3CC - Grey Ogre and a 3/3 for 4CC - Hill Giant These are very generic, very boring. These are not going to show up here. At least the creatures here have to be worse than this. There are some creatures I considered, but the end of the day they have uses: Leviathan , Demonic Hordes 80. Elder Spawn 7 cost including 3 blue isn't easy. You do get a big fattie, which isn't all bad and is anti-red to boot. Not having trample hurts though and that drawback can add up fairly quickly. 79. Kjeldoran Guard Ignoring the last half of this card because no one play...

Magic: The Ten Best Planeswalkers

There are only 40 Planeswalkers to begin with, so by ranking 10 it's quite a few. They are all really powerful despite being expensive and rare. There is even a two mana costed one. I was trying to come up with the worst one, but I really couldn't. There are some that are geared for specific decks - swarm, artifacts...etc. But being limited doesn't mean much because in those types of decks, these cards are game breaking. All that said, here are my ten favorite. Honorable Mention: There is always an honorable mention. This card is great, no question. Only costing three, she is definitely one of the most useful Planeswalkers. Her ultimate does some damage, her plus one hurts - but neither ability is truly game breaking. 10. Jace, Memory Adept Drawing an extra card every turn for five mana is a good deal by itself. But you add the extra mill every turn to prevent scrying and then the plus one becomes pretty neat. Milling for ten in a mill deck is a great deal. The ult...
